I never had advent calendars growing up, so in an effort to heal my inner child, I now make sure to have them every single year. In fact, there was one year that I accidentally got my kids three advent calendars each. Oops!

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is a movie that was not a classic in my home, but my husband introduced it to me as soon as we got married and we have watched it every year since. If you haven’t fallen in love with this better than tolerable children’s show, you may be a bad person. Bluey is one of the few kids shows that I actually enjoy watching at any time. My kids, along with most kids I’m sure, are obsessed with slime! And I will admit, I do find myself mesmerized by slime videos on TikTok. I can see the appeal.
